ProStep is founded by Boris Gorenc, a highly successful basketball player who made his career playing in top European clubs and championships. Olimpija Ljubljana Slovenia, Pau-Orthez France, Kinder Bologna Italy, Siena Italy, Varese Italy, Olympiakos Greece, Khimki Moscow, all the names speak for themselves. And Chicago Bulls in 1997. For 12 years Boris Gorenc was playing for the Slovenian National Team. Lot of victories with these teams, the most remarkable Saporta Cup with Siena (2002) where Boris Gorenc was a key player. Present success of Siena is to a big extent originated from that victory and for the fans of Siena the name of Boris is still a huge name in the history of the club. Experience Boris gained as a player in different teams, with different coaches and in different countries he shares with ProStep players for them to achieve their utmost in professional careers. Vera Vakulenko joins ProStep with her story of success and victories behind, the story and experience of a high-level club manager approaching every situation with deep understanding and ability to get the best of it. Ural Great Perm, the team that became Russian Champion in 2001 and 2002 beating CSKA, the only seasons in the last 19 years in which CSKA has not won the Russian League title. In 2002 she moved to CSKA Moscow just before the club began its ongoing record-breaking run of eight consecutive Final Fours. For 6 years Vera was a part of this success with two Euroleague titles, Prague 2006 and Madrid 2008 and rose to the position of Vice-President of CSKA. Vera gained significant credibility and big respect in the basketball world bringing experience and skills to improve the teams. Asseco Prokom with Vera Vakulenko as Sports Director reached the biggest until the present time success in the history of Polish club basketball qualifying to the playoffs of Euroleague in 2010.ProStep cooperates with Mario Primorac and his contribution is an important part of the agency. Mario Primorac enters ProStep with his big career in basketball. Mario was a member of the Yugoslavian National Team 1985-1990 and won with his team the Universiade in 1987 and the European Championship in 1990. He played for the Bosnian National Team in 1993-1995. Club career of Mario went with Bosna Sarajevo, Alba Berlin and Slovenian teams. In 2001 when retired Mario Primorac became a coach and started his own basketball school. Later the school of Mario Primorac grew into a club where he develops his young players and creates their careers. |
